The Meat tenderizer is 2 1/4 diameter and the base weighs 11oz with a handle the weight will be closer to a pound. The heft will diminish the need to "pound" as with traditional mallet styles. The coffee tampers are 58mm in diameter and weigh 10.5 oz. without the handle. With a removable handle you can have multiple handles to fit the user.
